Staging a HOME

SO THIS HAPPENED... last week I was out driving around looking at houses, going into open ones, I always like to do this to keep up with the market, styles, new ideas, etc. I pulled into this red farmhouse and walked inside and my mind started racing with design ideas and how much it could help the sale of this home. I had mentioned before to you guys that I have my real estate license and am able to tie that in with Homegrown Design. Staging an empty home can allow the imagination of buyers to see a room in a different way. For instance, this living room can appear to be very small and tight fitting. Once I can get a layout of the floorplans and how to place the furniture, I decide on the size of furniture. It doesn't mean I can not have as much seating available for guest, just not bulky or overly sized. Keeping it slim and clean lines is best for a smaller space. Same with the open concept most new homes have now, it can be hard for someone to visualize how to place décor to give each room its own space and for it all not to bleed together. Simply placing furniture correctly can help this. In this case, placing the back of the couch against the open dining room divided the spaces up but still allows you to see across the room.

Staging a home can make a HUGE difference in the sale of a home simply because it allows people to think outside a box they might not have seen walking into an empty space. It gives a HOME character and usable visions.

Homegrown Design offers this service to new construction homes with the availability for buyers to purchase all staging items with the home if they so choose! What a deal, move into a new home AND have it beautifully designed. All there is for them to do is move in and relax! Sounds like a great deal to me!

If you are interested in this house, I would love to help you with the purchase of the home itself and/or the furniture inside. I will be hosting a sip-n-see event within the next week to allow the public to come through and see the home differently and an invitation to meet with myself and the services Homegrown Design can provide for you whether it be staging, private design and décor, new construction design, or just the sale/purchase of a new HOME! Date to be posted soon.

Details provided below and a HUGE thank you to Andy Hammons and his precious family for allowing me to collab with your beautifully built home!
